When do I pay for my rental?

For self-drive rentals, full payment upfront is required. For chauffeured rentals, payment may be given to the driver at the end of the trip. Details for the receipt should be provided to the office beforehand.

What are the methods of payment?

We accept both Cash and Credit Card (Visa / Mastercard) payments. American Express card, debit card and personal checks are not accepted.

Are the vehicles insured?

Yes, all of the ZTS Cars vehicles are insured. Implementing guidelines shall be followed in the following cases:

1. Any damages and loss to the accessories vehicle interior (stereo, speakers, dashboards, chairs, mats) or exterior, or other expenses to the vehicles if such will not be covered by the insurance and if this will arise to a judicial case it will be under the jurisdiction of the court of the City of Iloilo and nowhere else.

2. Bumps, dents and the like resulting to a need for repairs. An estimate for the work to be done will be given by the Chief Mechanic of ZTS or by the Casa.

3. For incidents resulting to Insurance Claims, a participation fee of no less than P10,000 shall be paid by the Lessee.

How do I rent a car?

You may use this website to make your booking or come visit our Booking Office at Dungon B, Diversion Road, Jaro Iloilo City (across Carlo’s Bakeshop). Check Map

Can I change my preferred vehicle after confirming reservation?

Yes, you may still change your preferred vehicle. However we encourage that you advice us early on to ensure that your preferred vehicle is available and ready for you.

What should I do if the car breaks down?

Call us at +63998ZTSCARS (0998-9872277) to report the problem. The ZTS Team will guide you via phone and when necessary, a team will be sent to assist you.

I have a foreign driver's license. Can I drive in the Philippines?

Yes, 90 days upon arrival so long as the license is in English. Otherwise, an International Driver’s License should be presented.

Do you allow for self-drive rental?

Yes, we allow for self-drive rental subject to submission of all requirements. This type of rental is not allowed for vans and minibuses due to Philippine regulations on public transport franchises.

What are the requirements for self-drive rental?

Presentation of three (3) VALID IDs is a must:

1. Passport (REQUIRED to be DEPOSITED with ZTS Office until end of rental)

2. Valid Drivers License

3. other Government issued IDs

Is 1 day rental equal to 24hours?

Self-drive rates are on a PER DATE BASIS and NOT on a 24-HOUR basis. Cut-off time is 5:00pm. For clients unable to return the car by the cut-off time, a minimal overnight rate of only Php 500.00 will be applied. Those availing of the overnight rate may return the car by 8AM the following day.

Is fuel included in the rental rate?

For self-drive rentals, fuel is not included in your rental rate. The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when rented. For chauffeur-driven rental, you may choose for the With Fuel option for a hassle-free travel.

Can I have the vehicle picked-up at the end of my rental instead of bringing it to your office?

It is highly recommended to have the vehicle returned to the same location where it was released. If unable to do so, a Collection Charge will be applied depending on the pick-up location.

Is there a kilometer cap for my rental?

Lessee is allowed a per day mileage of 100 kilometers for city use, and 150 kilometers for out of town. When it is determined at the end of the rental period that there is excess mileage driven, the Lessee will be charged a minimal Php10.00/km.

What is the minimum rental period?

It is recommended for self-drive rentals to at least be at a minimum of 2 days. For chauffeured rentals, minimum of 5hours.

Can I extend my rental?

For any rental extensions, the lessee must inform the ZTS Office at least 24hours before the agreed end of the rental period. This is to ensure that no problem may crop up in case the rented vehicle has been reserved for another customer.

Can I smoke while in the car?

No, in support of the No Smoking policy of the local government, all ZTS vehicles are non-smoking.

Can someone else drive my rented vehicle?

Unless otherwise in emergencies, the Lessee is the only one allowed to drive the rented vehicle. Further, the lesse should not use the unit for practice driving nor drive the unit outside designated routes without prior notice/approval from the ZTS Office.

Can I do walk-in rental or rent without reservation?

You are encouraged to make an advance booking in order to make sure that your preferred unit is available to you. Walk-in clients will be entertained but units available for rental may be limited.

Will I be charged a cancellation fee?

In most cases, no cancellation fee is charged. However in certain cases such as when the vehicle has left the ZTS garage or during peak season, a fee will be charged. In order to avoid unnecessary charges, kindly cancel at least 24hours before the start of the rental period.

Do you have long-term rentals?

ZTS offers weekly and monthly rentals at lower rates versus the daily rental rates.
